Marketing Specialist
Reporting to: Director of Digital & Brand Strategy
We are in search of a dynamic and results-focused Marketing Specialist to become an integral part of our team. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in steering marketing campaigns, taking charge of social media management, supporting digital marketing initiatives, and collaborating across teams to amplify our company's presence. The ideal candidate will lead the way in overseeing the day-to-day operations within the team's "center of excellence."
Your Impact
Marketing Campaign Process Management:
- Implement and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns.
- Support market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support leads in monitoring and analyzing campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Evaluate team capacity and workload to optimize resource allocation.
- Work closely with graphic designers and other creative professionals to enhance the visual appeal and impact of digital and physical assets.
Support Digital Marketing and Customer Service:
- Assist in creating and optimizing digital marketing content.
- Oversee customer service effort, ensuring prompt and effective responses.
- Support market research to identify content trends and preferences, ensuring that all digital content aligns with the company's brand voice and resonates with the target audience.
- Support SEO best practice implementation to optimize digital content for search engines, enhancing discoverability and driving organic traffic.
Social Media Management:
- Collaborate with the agency for consistent online brand representation.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility.
- Create engaging and shareable content for various social media platforms.
- Lead the social media agency relationship
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and manage online communities.
Collaborate with Partnerships and Grassroots Marketing Team:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with partnerships team for collaborative campaigns.
- Participate in grassroots marketing initiatives, events, and community outreach.
- Leverage partnerships to amplify brand visibility and drive engagement.
Team Lead for the "Center of Excellence":
- Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate as a member of the Continuous Improvement Team as the key stakeholder to Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing
Additional Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to derive insights and make data-driven marketing decisions.
- Budget Management: Work within allocated budgets, tracking expenses and optimizing spending.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, product, and other departments to ensure integrated marketing strategies.
- Market Trends Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.

- Social Media Expertise: Proficient in social media platforms, trends, and community management.
- Innovative Mindset: Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing marketing strategies and campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Project Management or a related field.
- 3-4 years of proven experience in marketing campaign management.
- Experience working in an agency or in a project management role
- Experience working with project management tools such as Clickup, Monday.com and Asana
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of the student market and experience in marketing to this demographic is a plus.
